BIOGRAPHY

My life began on the 25th of August, in 1994. My life in photography began soon after. When i picked up a camera at age 3, i had no idea what it was, I just liked to click the button. Now, i see the a camera is a beautiful way to capture life. To capture beauty. Photography is something that i base my life around. Without photography, nobody would see things out of their reach, or boundaries. Nobody would see the beauty of a tree from another persons angle. Photography is freedom.

At 8 years old i was all around the house taking pictures of everything with a camera, without knowing what i could create with it. I just though that it was amazing that i could press a button that makes everything still on a screen. Forever. And it still amazes me. When i got older i started working at getting better at Photography. Using angles, shutter speed, and aperture to make my pictures look the way i wanted them to look. Over the years i have grown in photography and photography has grown in me. I feel as though photography has helped me mature, and grow up, and has given me a sense of security.

As i look around i see all the possible things i could be taking pictures of, and all of the different angles at witch the picture would look the best. In my opinion, anything and everything can be photography. Even a white wall if you take the picture right. I think that a good photographer doesn’t just take pictures of things that look like good photography, but take pictures that make it challenging to make the picture look like photography. If you take a picture of a beautiful tree from an angle looking up, obviously the picture is going to look somewhat good. I think every photographer should challenge themselves and see what they can accomplish with their skills and knowledge of photography.

 

ARTIST STATEMENT

There are Photographs of things i will never see in my life. And i have taken photographs of things people will never see in their life. The point of my art is to show people something they have never seen before, and may never see, EVER. This world is a beautiful place and neither you nor I will see all of its wonders. BUT, what i see i can take a picture of and show it to you. Meaning you can see the beauty that i saw, in the closest way possible without actually being there.  And you could do the same for me. I love the endless things that i can see because of the photographs of others. I want my art to have the same affect on people that some photographs have on me. I also want my life to reflect the strugles in life, as well as the overcomming of it. The beauty of nature that is unseen. And the wonderful human body. The compasion of beautiful eyes, and the attitude of an animal. I want my viewers to think outside the box, use their brains, and think about what my reason for taking that picture was. and i want them to notice my flaws.
